SmallBizAccountants.com is a free search engine connecting small business owners with members of the nationwide network of the Professional Association of Small Business Accountants (PASBA).
Our History The Professional Association of Small Business Accountants (PASBA) is a relatively new name for what was originally known as the National Association of Small Business Accountants.
Founded in 1982 with the idea that accountants could strategically run their practices in a more efficient and client-focused way, PASBA brings together some of the best and brightest minds in small business accounting and tax planning and preparation. Through semi-annual national meetings the accountants discovered that small business clients, feeling lost in the blue chip client list of large accounting firms, were hungry for a financial partner that deeply understood their needs and struggles. The result was a compilation of ‘best practices’ that each accounting firm used to run their own businesses as well as provide a solid package of accounting and business services to their clients.
Member accountants and tax professionals discovered strengths by networking with their colleagues both locally and across the country when issues or other problem-solving were required. Using the strength of the national organization, our members could access the knowledge, expertise and diverse backgrounds of its membership to better serve their clients.
Today’s PASBA focuses on several core values and key propositions in order to better serve its membership and its clients nationwide. As part of the organization’s continued growth, SmallBizAccountants.com, is a free online web portal developed to connect small business owners like you with experienced small business accounting and tax professionals in their area 24 hours a day, seven days a week all from the convenience of a computer keyboard.
